1. I saw a mini-doc on television the other day, about the obsessive way and neurotic manner the Kennedy family - for decades now - is carefully guarding the Holy JFK image, (practically) with their lives (and mega-fortune), after they spent lots of dollars. and (also mafia-) connections, in the fifties and sixties to have JFK placed on the USA throne in the first place.
2. Which makes me wonder, whether the Kennedy clan themselves might be involved in the (supposed) cover up of the murder.
3. Involved, either while they might know already what really happened (and publicizing that knowledge might (further) tarnish the JFK hagiography), or they fear (and suspect on good grounds), that discovering the truth about his assassination might produce enough negativity about JFK, to erase the positive / royal Kennedy family image for ever.
4. Throughout the year's after the liquidation, the public of course already have been confronted with a collection of highly damaging facts about the Kennedy's.
5. Thus we have been informed about the virulent anti-semitism and right-out admiration for Hitler inclusing his abject ideology, of the (RC) father of JFK, Joseph Kennedy sr., which at the end cost Joseph Kennedy sr. his post as USA ambassador in the UK.
6. But we also got to know, about the admiration of his son - JFK - for "the great dictator" :
Both in the time just before WWII and shortly thereafter JFK traveled to Germany, and even during this last trip, he has been heard, saying, that History - when enough time will have been passed - will judge favorably (!) about the "impressive leadership of Hitler".!
7. For the right understanding of things : The young JFK advertised his admiration for Hitler and his criminal legacy at a point in time, when the world at large had already been extensively informed about the horrors of the holocaust and all the other criminal achievements of belligerent and colonial Germany.!
8. We also now know of the divers, close and plural relationships with the mafia by both the Kennedy's as a family and by JFK in particular.
9. We know for example not only about his ludicrous love-affair -during his presidency - with a mobster lady-friend, but we also know, the mafia-ties of Peter Lawford (UK) who - in his capacity of member of the mobster rat-pack - first had been involved in the election of JFK and later on, even became family of the Kennedy-clan.
10. We also now know, that the origin of the Kennedy fortune is of a highly suspicious nature, given the prohibition-related nature of that capital and we are also informed now about the highly incriminating fact, that father Joseph notably had to buy votes from the mafia, to ensure the presidential nomination of JFK in the first place.
11. But as I said in the opening sentence : The public is only allowed to know, what the Kennedy clan wants it to know.
12. So we may imagine, that there will be much more in store, to be revealed (hopefully) at some time in the future, when someone will decide to by-pass the family Omerta, and disclose it all....
N.B. a. Getting to know about the real facts on this much spoken about assassination of a head of state, that shocked the world at the time, is not only about the public, wanting to exercise their fundamental right to know the facts as such.
b. But this whole saga is touching nearly as much about the (true nature of the) relationship between the electorate and the elected within the context of a supposedly judicially based democracy....
c. This not in the least because this high profile murder-case - and all the apparent attempts to hide away by a range of successive governments, the exact data about this murder, its preparation, its execution and the motives behind the murder - has fueled / infuriated / enhanced an already existing elementary suspicion of the electorate against its democratically elected leadership.
d. And by doing do, (this) has principally undermined the very (application of the) concept of democracy itself.
e. So the aforementioned ideologically relevant context (the elected power, the abuse of power within the elected leadership and the intrinsic solidness (or the contrary of that) of the democratic system in itself), is the principal reason why - even after fifty years - the public should not abort its endeavor to lift the seal on the truth and nothing but the truth of this murder, its pre-history and its aftermath.
